Z-Wave Plus carbon monoxide detector with built-in battery and temperature gauge.
The FIBARO CO Sensor is a light and compact carbon monoxide (CO) detector. Wireless, it uses the Z-Wave Plus radio protocol. It is battery-powered so that it can be easily fixed to the wall of your choice. Its extreme sensitivity allows it to detect the presence of carbon monoxide at an early stage in order to avoid any risk of poisoning. Threats are signalled thanks to a built-in alarm, a colour LED and a Z-Wave notification/signal system. The CO Sensor also has a built-in temperature gauge.
Carbon monoxide is invisible and odorless. This makes it particularly dangerous for human beings and animals.
Its presence results in a partial combustion, regardles of the combustible used: wood, butane, charcoal, petrol, fuel, natural gas, petroleum, propane.
The following devices are particularly likely to give off carbon monoxide:
The FIBARO CO Sensor has passed the BSI certification with a Kitemark license. BSI Kitemark is a certification mark owned and operated by BSI. It is one of the most recognised symbols of quality and safety around the world. Each BSI-certified sensor subject to ongoing and strict assessments, including control procedures and evaluations of manufacturing processes.
A solid understanding of alerts can allow anyone to evaluate the threat.
The colour green signals a trace quantity of carbon monoxide, or its total absence.
The colour orange indicates a moderate concentration of carbon monoxide. This may affect your concentration and/or cause vertigo. Make sure to open the windows before looking for the source of the leak.
A red notification is dangerous enough to represent a mortal danger. Follow the applicable rules for critical concentrations of carbon monoxide.
Even a low concentration of carbon monoxide can have negative effects on your health. The CO Sensor will be there to alert you when it's time to take action.
The carbon monoxide detector can be used along as an autonomous sensor. It will be an effective and accurate way of protecting those you love, even if they don't have a remote control.
High levels of carbon monoxide can appear even when no one is at home. In these cases, having a remote control allows you to be alerted wherever you are so that you can take the necessary measures.
