Aqara - Smart Video Doorbell G4

The Smart Video Doorbell Aqara G4 is a smart video doorbell that can be wired or battery powered. It is also the first battery-powered doorbell on the market to be compatible with Apple's HomeKit secure video and capable of supporting streaming to Google and Alexa smart screens, with local AI used for facial recognition alerts, automation and more.

Local AI face recognition

The built-in local face algorithm is the biggest advantage of the Aqara doorbell. It can help people quickly learn the identity of the person outside and display a notification accordingly, or set different automations* based on the visitor. Even if the network is sometimes disconnected, the recognition function will not be affected.

Works with Apple Home, etc.

It's the world's first battery-powered HomeKit Secure Video doorbell**. Video analysis and notifications are done on your Apple devices, such as iPad, phone, Apple TV. Everything is encrypted before being stored in Apple's iCloud***. In addition, it can realize the interconnection of audio and video with Google and Alexa.

Free local and cloud storage

Aqara G4 knows how to save you money while still providing a good storage experience with 7 days of free storage in the cloud, which equals saving you up to 60 CHF per year on subscription fees. And the G4's inner chime offers the option of local storage on microSD card (not included), which is more secure and convenient. In the future, we also plan to launch NAS storage to provide more options for our users.

Video on demand and two-way conversation

Respond to your visitors from anywhere with your smartphone, whether you are at home or on the other side of the world. When a visitor arrives, you'll receive a call that allows you to check who's ringing the doorbell, and possibly answer it. With the G4's 162° wide-angle field of view, 1080p HD video, and glass lens (4 lenses), the video display is clearer and more stable. The Smart Vido Doorbell G4 is suitable for outdoor use.******

Battery and wired 2-in-1

Although it is extremely feature-rich, the G4's battery life is one of the longest: its 6-pack of batteries allows it to be used for 4 months.****. Plus, you can wire the G4 to a 12-24V AC or 8-24V DC transformer, and the batteries will only be used in case of a power outage!

Chime repeater included

The Smart Video Doorbell G4 comes with an indoor chime repeater. It comes with a powerful 95 dB speaker and a USB-C port for more flexible placement. Apart from that, it can even be powered from a powerbank* or mini-UPS for battery backup*!!!

Voice change option

Smart Video Doorbell G4 has a unique voice changing technology. It allows you to change your voice when you communicate through the Aqara App. The voice can be changed to uncle voice, robot voice and clown voice, which can better protect user's privacy and identity.

Support for "Do Not Disturb" mode

Users can customize the ringing period and ringing volume of the doorbell. This will prevent you from being disturbed when the "Do Not Disturb" mode is activated.

Customized Ringtones

Allows users to download personalized ringtones to be played on the exterior doorbell or interior chime. For example, you could play a specific voice message based on who comes to the door "Tom is not home, please come back tomorrow".

Various abnormal state alarms

When the doorbell is forcibly dismounted, the outside ambient temperature is abnormally high/low, people stay at the door, the battery is low, etc., the alarm status can be flexibly configured to remind the owner to pay attention to the security status of the door and the operating status of the equipment.

Define the masking area

Privacy protection can be set for up to 3 designated areas on the display. After setting, the designated areas will be masked, which can protect the privacy of neighbors. This function is fully taken into account for users living in apartment buildings.

* To achieve automation, and link to other smart devices, you must purchase an additional Zigbee Hub.
** To control this HomeKit-enabled accessory, the latest version of IOS or iPadOS is recommended. HomeKit secure video requires a supported iCloud+ plan and a HomePod mini, HomePod, Apple TV or iPad configured as a home hub. Updating to the latest software and operating systems is recommended.
