UniFi controller for camera and access point operation

The UniFi Cloud Key Gen2 Plus has an 8-core APQ8053 processor with 3 GB of RAM, a 1 TB 2.5" SATA hard drive (expandable by the user) and 32 GB of eMMC flash memory. There is a 10/100/1000 Mb/s Gigabit Ethernet port that supports 802.3af PoE. You can power the device via a 9VDC power supply (not included), via POE according to the 802.3af standard or directly via the USB Type-C connection with QuickCharge 2.0 technology. The appropriate USB power supply and usb cable A to C are indicated in the accessories.

UniFi SDN + UniFi Protect Mode

The UniFi Cloud Key Gen2 Plus can configure and manage up to 20 UniFi cameras in UniFi Protect mode (camera operation only). In UniFi SDN + UniFi Protect mode (camera mode and AccessPoint/Switch), it is possible to manage up to 15 UniFi cameras and 50 UniFi devices.

Live view

View up to 20 live camera images in a single window. With the basic and advanced template options, choose the Live View template that suits you best. You can use configurable playlists to create live camera views alternately. Set the cameras you want to include in the playlist and how long each camera should appear on the live screen before you move on to the next camera.

Elapsed time

The Time Lapse feature allows you to quickly and efficiently scroll through events and video recordings. You can now browse hundreds of hours of video in minutes, saving you time when watching a video.

Local backup

Thanks to the built-in 1TB hard drive, your video recordings are stored privately on the Cloud Key Gen2 Plus. Store hundreds of hours of recordings without third-party or digital storage to leave fingerprints online.

Managing Wi-Fi, routers, and switches

Use the UniFi SDN controller to manage and configure UniFi AccessPoints, routers, and switches. With UniFi Controller software, you can manage all access points, routers and switches on your network and get detailed information about system traffic.

Hotspot functionality

The UniFi controller is also equipped with the hotspot feature and offers your customers many options and possibilities in this regard: Integration for credit card payments, coupon-based authentication, Hotspot Manager for coupon creation and much more. Thanks to the software dashboard, you also get an overview of all the important and current information on your network at all times.
