Watteco - Outdoor temperature sensor - LoRaWAN

The outdoor temperature sensor enables temperature data to be collected remotely, providing information on weather conditions and temperature measurement in cold positive or negative environments. Data is transmitted periodically or immediately if minimum or maximum temperature thresholds are exceeded via a public or private LoRaWAN® network.

The sensor is quick and easy to install and configure. It has an on/off switch (ILS) and LEDs for easy configuration and association with the network. Each sensor is identified by a QR code on a label and an NFC tag integrated into its casing.

Measurement data is transmitted individually or aggregated and compressed (batch mode) before being sent over the LoRaWAN® network. Batch mode, which is the default configuration, considerably reduces the amount of data transmitted while preserving the sensor's autonomy. Powered by a 3.6 V/3.6 Ah battery, the sensor has a battery life of over 8 years, with a configuration of 6 measurements every 10 minutes and 1 transmission per hour. What's more, the battery voltage level can be regularly monitored remotely, with a transmission every 24 hours.
