Akuvox - Ethernet Access Control Unit (Akuvox A092S)

A reliable access controller for your building

The access controller Akuvox of the A092 series is based on Android. It has several ports, such as RS485 and Wiegand ports that can be used to easily integrate with external digital systems, such as card readers, elevator controller and fire alarm detector, creating overall control of the entrance to the building and its surroundings.

With its two built-in relays, the A092 is able to control up to two doors while giving you a great sense of security thanks to card access. Supporting both standalone and networked deployment, it can be applied to projects of different sizes.

Intelligent access control and easy management

The A092 centralizes user data and access credentials when operating autonomously and can be easily configured and maintained via a browser.

Multiport interface for effortless integration

Supporting RS485, OSDP, Wiegand protocols and having two output relays and two button inputs, the A092 can work seamlessly with various external devices, such as card readers, door locks and fire alarms.

Advanced Security

The A092 is designed to offer a new foolproof safety:

• Optional battery backup slot to allow access control even in the case of a power cutter.

• Communication via TLS 1.2 with AES-256 encryption.

Expandable system

Communicating via TCP/IP, the A092 can be networked with the access control software Akuvox, so that the system can be linked to multiple A092s thus increasing the number of doors and places that can be centrally managed.

Cloud access and subscription

Akuvox products can be used with or without a cloud. Access to the Akuvox cloud is through the SmartPlus smartphone app. For example, it will allow you to receive video calls, operate relays, generate temporary QR access codes, view visit history, trigger photo taking, etc.

If you purchase a video intercom and a screen from us at the same time, we offer you the cloud for life. Unlike the license you can purchase on our site, the version we offer does not include the possibility of making calls on fixed lines.

If you don't want a screen, you can choose to purchase a cloud license for a year or you can purchase a cloud license for life.

These licenses are valid for one residence/family, up to a total of 4 cloud users. Beyond 4 users, a subscription of 2 CHF per month will be required per additional user (for the 5th, 6th etc.).
