Apollo TEMP-1B - Wireless Battery-Powered Connected Temperature Sensor for Home Assistant
Introduction
The TEMP-1B from Apollo Automation revolutionizes mobile temperature monitoring by completely freeing users from mains power constraints. This standalone version with a rechargeable battery offers up to 6 months of autonomy while retaining all the advanced features of the TEMP-1 system, including external probes and multimodal alerts.
Perfectly suited for temporary installations, isolated areas, or mobile applications, the TEMP-1B excels in monitoring unpowered structures such as cellars, garages, leisure vehicles, or outdoor installations under shelter. Its "Works With Home Assistant" certification ensures native ESPHome integration without compromising performance, while its open-source design allows full customization to meet specific needs.
This solution transforms inaccessible environments into smart monitoring points, creating an extended monitoring network without electrical infrastructure while maintaining the precision and responsiveness of a permanent wired system.

*More Information About the Probe
The food-grade probe is designed to withstand temperatures up to 350°C. However, to ensure measurement reliability, it has been tested in an oven up to around 200°C (400°F), which is the recommended usage limit.
The probe contains an internal resistor, and its accuracy is optimal around 93°C (200°F). The further the measured temperature deviates from this value, the more the accuracy decreases. For this reason, its use is recommended up to 204°C (400°F).
