Aeotec - Dimmer Bypass
This module enables low-energy light bulbs (<4W) to be dimmed using the Nano Dimmer micromodule
Varying light levels with low-power lighting is complicated - so many different technologies are used in today's modern light bulbs.
Which is why lights sometimes flicker or remain lit. The Bypass works with the Nano Dimmer to stop power trickling through and thus causing your energy-saving light bulbs to flicker.
If your switch controls low-voltage lighting drawing less than 4 watts, you will need to install the Bypass when using the Nano Dimmer.
Compatible light bulbs
There is a wide range of different light bulbs on the market; the Bypass has been designed to work with the great majority of these. It has been designed to prevent most light bulbs flickering, including both static and dimmable LEDs, and CFLs.
