The Water Sensor 7 is a sensor designed to detect drips and leaks and help mitigate water damage through the use of wireless coupled technologies such as water shut-off valves.

Battery powered and built on Gen7 and 700 Z-Wave technologies, the Water Sensor 7 has been designed as a set and forget product with up to 3 years of battery life.

Leak detection

Leaks are a recipe for costly bills and expensive damage when they appear where they shouldn't. Monitoring more than just the presence of liquid, the Aeotec Water Sensor 7 lives up to its name by monitoring the absence of water. When used to monitor tanks or pits, the Aeotec Water Sensor 7 can alert you when water levels get too low and trigger automation routines.

Leakage protection

It doesn't just monitor when the water goes bad. When connected to a Z-Wave automation system, the Water Sensor 7 can take protective measures to help limit the amount of damage caused by drips, leaks, splashes or other water flow.

With a leakage processor measuring only 70x30mm, it has been built on Aeotec's exclusive Gen7 technology, allowing it to be installed wirelessly almost anywhere in a room and run for 3 years before its single 3.6 volt battery needs changing.
